25-Year Milestone Reached

Lintech Components is pleased to announce that we’ve reached a milestone: a quarter of a century providing procurement solutions for the military, industrial and commercial sectors for obsolete, long lead time and otherwise hard-to-find electronic components. We don’t think that’s a fluke because you don’t make it to the 25th year mark in business this tough without doing something right.

It all started in 1991 with a commitment to address a marketplace imperfection: the planned obsolescence of electronic components and the lack of availability from and support by manufacturers and franchised distribution for discontinued components. Over the years, the devices Lintech has sourced have ended up in everything from mission-critical missiles and helicopters to computers and telecom systems. While our specialty is obsolete parts, Lintech is also expert at sourcing devices temporarily unavailable through standard channels due to product shortages, as well as identifying substitute parts.

How is it that Lintech Components survived from the days of the floppy disk to the Internet age? Our ability to adapt to and lead within an evolving market, as evidenced by being one of the first to develop a formal counterfeit mitigation process, is certainly a primary factor. As that process matured into Lintech’s detailed counterfeit control plan, it has helped us earn approval as a trusted product and testing supplier to the U.S. Government’s Defense Logistics Agency: a designation earned only by best-in-class distributors. Then there is Lintech’s commitment to quality and continuous process improvement, which has lead us to consistently achieving some of the lowest RMA rates in the industry. In addition, a willingness to invest in onsite inventory enables us to support one of the most extensive line cards. And let’s not forget our dedication to exceptional customer service from RFQ to delivery. Because it all begins and ends with our customers.
